Hello, I’m Eric Chapman with Triangle Orthopaedics. Showing you a few exercises today for clothes chain and weight-bearing through your shoulder. While you’re lying on your stomach, bring your elbows even to the height of your shoulder. At this point, we’re gonna drive the forearms down into the table and pushing forward as you lift up through the center of your back. On the way down, you want to squeeze and press your shoulder blades. Repeating. Up and down. To progress this exercise we’re going to move him to hands and knees or four points. Again, lifting up as he drives down. It’s important to keep your hips and the rest of your body in a still position while you perform this exercise. The third progression is to take your feet and your hips to a plank position. As you then lift and touch your opposite shoulder with your hand. Again, as we work this right arm, we’re stabilizing through the shoulder blade as we weight bear through his hand.
